Why We Built This Site
Michigan opens a good deal of court and agency material to the public, but access is not the same as knowing where a record lives. A warrant does not sit in one place. The court that issues it sets the charge and the bond. The Sheriff's Office serves it and maintains the department file. A bench warrant for a missed court date stays with the court that set the case, which in Monroe County means the 1st District Court for most traffic and misdemeanor matters and the 38th Circuit Court or the Friend of the Court for family and felony matters.
Statewide systems add another layer without settling the question. Michigan runs no public warrant database. The Law Enforcement Information Network is limited to criminal-justice agencies, and the state criminal-history product ICHAT leaves warrant information out. It is easy to check one office, see nothing, and assume the question is closed. This site gathers the office names, addresses, phone numbers, and request routes for Monroe County so a reader can begin with the office that actually holds the answer.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Michigan court, sheriff's office, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant in any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or record note on this site is current right now
Only the court that issued the warrant, or the Sheriff's Records Division that holds the department file, can confirm whether a warrant exists and whether it has been recalled. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes run by outside providers. Those companies set their own pricing and handle their own results. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee, and that revenue helps keep this site free to read. We do not control what those tools charge or what they return, and their output is not an official warrant check.
